Brella co-hosts The European Startup Conference to help Ukrainian tech ecosystem

Helsinki, November 25, 2022 – Brella is glad to announce a new nonmonetary partnership with The European Startup Conference 2022, a non-profit event organized by Startup Network Europe to support the Ukrainian tech ecosystem during these challenging times.

The conference will be held virtually on Brella and live from Ukraine on December 7 and it will have three major objectives:

Fundraise €50,000 for UNICEF
Gather 10,000 European Startup Founders and International Investors
Connect hundreds of Ukrainian startups with Venture Capitalists and Angel Investors

Brella’s matchmaking platform will be opened two weeks before the event to give plenty of time to Ukrainian startups and international attendees to log into the platform, connect with their top matches, schedule 1:1 meetings with interested parties, and start building valuable partnerships.

“Brella has worked with the startup/investor ecosystem for a long time, and we’re honored to join forces with Startup Network Europe and all other partners to help Ukrainian startups thrive even under the most challenging circumstances,” says Brella CEO and co-founder, Markus Kauppinen.

The conference will also feature a notable agenda including keynotes and panel discussions from European Startup Leaders, prominent international entrepreneurs, Ukrainian Startup Ecosystem Leaders, and Ukrainian Scaleup Founders (read the full list of keynotes and panelists here).

On top of its remarkable keynote sessions, the event will include a Ukrainian Startup Pitching & Matchmaking Program where selected Ukrainian startups will be able to pitch their businesses in a session moderated by Startup Wise Guys, the biggest early-stage investor in Ukraine.
