30 Under 30 Summit 2025
"For the Forbes Under 30 Summit and several other Forbes events, our team was facing a very common industry issue. While we had our venues, activities, speakers, and other aspects down to a science, we knew that some attendees were feeling overwhelmed by the fact that they were surrounded by thousands of people and couldn’t engage in enough organic conversations, and having a difficult time finding attendees they may have something in common with—whether it be industry, personal interests, or a list of other categories.
Brella offers a uniquely helpful feature in its matchmaking, messaging, and meeting setting capabilities that set it apart from other event apps. By implementing Brella, we were able to vastly improve our attendees’ experience on-site, allowing them to leave the event with more useful and meaningful connections than they would have without this tool.
Overall, we’ve loved how customizable Brella has been, enabling us to tailor and adjust features to best support our unique events. Specifically, as the Audience Development team within Forbes Live, we've especially enjoyed identifying our "super connectors"—the individuals who are most requested for meetings or who have scheduled the most meetings with others.
The user metrics and analytics available in the lead-up to and following each event have provided us with valuable insights into who our attendees are and what they’re looking for. This data has empowered us to better understand our audience and design more impactful events for them in the future.
