Cover photo & profile card

The profile cards now include a cover photo, which can be uploaded from an attendee's profile page. The cover picture can be used to identify their affiliation with a specific organization and showcase their interests to help them standout to potential networking matches.

To add a cover photo, attendees simply need to click on their avatar / avatar placeholder on the top right corner of the Brella web app, and select the "Account" option from the dropdown menu.

cover-pic They can then click on the camera icons below the "Profile and cover photo" section to change both their profile and cover photos.

Note: If any attendees decline to add a cover photo, Brella will fallback to the default cover photo instead — themed based on the primary brand color specified in the "Customization" tab of your admin panel.

Attendance tags

Attendance tags are minimalistic badges that can now be optionally enabled and displayed on the profile cards at hybrid events, in order for attendees and sponsors to identify whether a potential networking match is on-site at the venue, attending virtually, or doing a mix of both.

Please note: In order to use this feature, "hybrid event" must be selected as the event type from the "Details" tab in your admin panel.

Screenshot 2021-10-08 at 11-22-22-png Attendance badges are also disabled by default for hybrid events, and must be enabled from the "Details" tab of your admin panel.

To enable this feature, simply toggle the "Display attendance tags" to the "on" position setting and save your changes.

Please note: Attendance tags rely on user groups to identify an attendee's mode of attendance. Therefore, ensure that your attendees and sponsors have been sorted to the correct groups before you turn this feature on.

The new people tab includes two sub-tabs:

Matches: This tab displays all the people Brella's AI has matched an attendee with, based on their interests and other commonalities.
All attendees: This tab displays all the attendees at an event, including those who have opted out of networking. However, only attendees who have opted into networking can be contacted.
